“My journey has taught me that real strength is about much more than what we can lift in the gym.”
Founder & Community Lead
Through my own recovery and personal struggles, I discovered how important exercise, honest conversation, connection and community are to our wellbeing. Training gave me structure, discipline and confidence, while recovery taught me the value of honesty, compassion and supporting one another.
There were times when I felt lost, but I learned that we do not have to face life alone. The right people, a sense of purpose and taking small positive steps each day can make a real difference.
Strength Circle grew from those experiences. I wanted to create a safe, welcoming and inclusive community where people could come together, talk openly, exercise and encourage one another—without pressure, judgement or expectation.
It began with a simple vision: to help people become stronger physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Strength Circle is not only for people in recovery, and it is not just a fitness group. It is for anyone over 18 who wants connection, encouragement and an opportunity to make positive changes in their life.
Each conversation, workout, walk and act of kindness helps the Circle grow. My hope is that people arrive exactly as they are, feel accepted and leave with more strength, hope and connection than they had when they walked in.
This is only the beginning.
As Strength Circle develops, the aim is to offer more activities, community events, wellbeing resources and opportunities for members to become involved.
