βMy journey has taught me that real strength is about much more than what we can lift in the gym.β
Founder & Community Lead
Through my own recovery and personal struggles, I discovered how important exercise, honest conversation, connection and community are to our wellbeing. Training gave me structure, discipline and confidence, while recovery taught me the value of honesty, compassion and supporting one another.
There were times when I felt lost, but I learned that we do not have to face life alone. The right people, a sense of purpose and taking small positive steps each day can make a real difference.
Strength Circle grew from those experiences. I wanted to create a safe, welcoming and inclusive community where people could come together, talk openly, exercise and encourage one anotherβwithout pressure, judgement or expectation.
It began with a simple vision: to help people become stronger physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Strength Circle is not only for people in recovery, and it is not just a fitness group. It is for anyone over 18 who wants connection, encouragement and an opportunity to make positive changes in their life.
Each conversation, workout, walk and act of kindness helps the Circle grow. My hope is that people arrive exactly as they are, feel accepted and leave with more strength, hope and connection than they had when they walked in.
This is only the beginning.
As Strength Circle develops, the aim is to offer more activities, community events, wellbeing resources and opportunities for members to become involved.
Every Wednesday 8:00 PM β 9:30 PM at Newall's Community Boxing Gym.

"πͺπ₯ TRAINING TUESDAY Training Tuesday is about making exercise simple, accessible and achievable for everyone. You donβt need to be super fit, have expensive equipment or keep up with anyone else β just start where you are, work at your own pace and build gradually. Every workout, every rep and every bit of movement is a step forward. Come as you are. Leave stronger. πͺπ€β€οΈ #StrengthCircle #TrainingTuesday #BeginnerWorkout #StartWhereYouAre #StrongerTogether"
"πͺπ€β€οΈ STRENGTH CIRCLE β MEMBERS MAKING A DIFFERENCE A massive well done and thank you to our Strength Circle member Andy for getting out into the community and doing some outreach for the Circle today. π Andy visited Greystones Supported Housing in Ashton, somewhere he used to live himself, and spoke with one of his former support workers. He shared the Strength Circle website, explained what weβre about and showed how people can get involved. Hopefully, this will help introduce Strength Circle to people who could benefit from connection, activity and being part of a supportive community. β€οΈ But there was something special in it for Andy too. After not seeing his former support worker for around 12 years, Andy got the chance to talk about how far he has come and the journey he has been on. Hearing how pleased someone was to see him doing well gave him a well-deserved confidence boost. π This is what community is about. People growing themselves and then reaching back out to help someone else. Well done, Andy. πͺπ And in Andyβs own wordsβ¦ βIβm off to the gym now to conquer the world!β ππͺ Come as you are. Leave stronger. πͺπ€β€οΈ Strength Circle #StrengthCircle #StrongerTogether #CommunityOutreach #CommunitySupport #MakingADifference #ComeAsYouAreLeaveStronger"
"πͺπ§ MINDSET MONDAY Start the week with intention. A new week doesnβt mean you have to change everything overnight. Sometimes progress starts with deciding to do one thing differently. This week, ask yourself: π― What is one goal I want to work towards? Your goal doesnβt have to be massive. πͺ Get to the gym. πΆ Go for a walk. π Make that phone call. π₯ Eat a little better. π€ Ask for help. β€οΈ Be kinder to yourself. π Simply keep showing up. TODAYβS CHALLENGE: Choose ONE WORD for how you want to approach this week. Discipline. Courage. Patience. Kindness. Consistency. Gratitude. Hope. π Drop your word in the comments. Small steps. Strong mindset. Better week. Come as you are. Leave stronger. πͺπ€β€οΈ Strength Circle #MindsetMonday #StrengthCircle #PositiveMindset #SmallSteps #StrongerTogether"
